Rubiks Cube

The aim of the rubiks cube it to get all the same colours on the same side, all the colours get more and more mixed up as you are trying to find the right way to get all of the colours on the same side. I think that it is a great design as it is easy to have fun with, everybody loves them, they are a good time waster, they are very cheap and easy to use.
Ascenders are the parts of letters that are taller than x height.
The X Height is the height of the main body of the lowercase letters.
Descenders are the parts of letters that are below the baseline (the invisible line on which the type sits.)
There are three main types, Script, sans serif and serif.

  • Create an interest on the page.
  • be strong, don't be wimp.
  • avoid mixing black writing with brown, if the items aren't the same make them completely different.

Repetition

  1. Repetition is often thought to be bad and tried to be avoided, but really, it is useful, because it brings visual interest and it unifies the poster.
  2. Avoid overdoing repetition, because it does get annoying after a while.
  3. Repetition strengthens your poster by putting trying to put two different pieces connected.
  4. Do not use repetition if you are writing more than one page.

Alignment

  • Every picture should refer to the text.
  • Have everything aligned well so you don't have things all over the place.
  • Avoid aligning more than one text.
  • have things spread out to the sides, try to avoid having everything in the center.
